SUMMER MOMENTS 2018 - OUR DECEMBER - MARCH FILMS & LIVE EVENTS MAGAZINE
Monday 26th February from 7pm
This fundraising event is an important one. For years politicians have been denouncing the mine and its impact on communities, as well as its threat to the quality of the water supply of the entire Central Coast. What has changed?
Who are the beneficiaries of this abomination and what will happen to the natural bush and wildlife impacted by it? On what basis are we allowing coal to be mined when we know it also contributes to green house gases and global warming?
Five local filmmakers jumped at the chance to donate their creative products ( on a variety of themes) to help raise funds for the legal challenge ahead.
They would love the opportunity to show their films as well. Representatives of the Water Not Coal movement on the Coast will be there to run proceedings.
